I cant have surgery?

Did you know?

Insurance companies are moving in the direction of not covering certain spinal surgeries (fusion...just like the one TIGER WOODS had that revived his career!, and also microdiscectomies) if the patient is obese and/or is a smoker. There is enough statistical evidence to support not covering those individuals because the failure rates are very high. Surgeons are finding it more difficult to get these approved and one we spoke with said "it won't be long and these wont get covered at all". SO...if you are overweight and/or smoke, and deal with back pain and have bad discs/joint degeneration, use this to get motivated and clean up the diet and stop smoking once and for all, because the last stop option of surgery may not be an option. ... side note; they have the right to test for nicotine before finally approving the surgery, so just saying you stopped isn't good enough, your blood has to prove it.
